Dear School Student Registrars,

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your hard work and continuous support and contribution to iNEIS™.

As we are approaching the end of the Academic Year, you need to ensure the following tasks are done:

1. Graduation Students

a. Student Clearance

b. Graduation Students

2. Student Progression

a. Student Progression

b. SAP Year 9 Progression

3. Student Track Allocation

4. New Student Upload

This guide will assist you with carrying out the above activities in iNEIS™ to ensure students’ data is ready for the following Academic Year.

Before proceeding to the Graduation/Progression/Streaming process, kindly ensure students who have pending Transfer/Withdrawal/Deferment issue have been settled.

The table below summarizes three(3) out of the four(4) key activities mentioned above and their applicable Academic careers with the respective dates of commencement.

* Subject to the release of examination results.
** Subject to the availability of list of students with their respective streaming programs.

This is to be done for students who have completed their Academic Programs and are ready to be “Graduated”. Prior to running the Graduation Students process, please ensure that the following steps are completed:

1.1 Student Clearance – Teacher with the School Admin Clearance role has assigned, updated and completed the Clearance Checklist for the graduating students.

Please refer to instruction below:

- NOT applicable for Pre-School students.

- Should the Create Clearance Checklists process display ‘No Success’, please contact the iNEIS™ Helpdesk team to ensure that you are assigned with the necessary user securities.

1.2 Graduation Students – Teacher with the School Admin Clearance role has graduated students based on their examination results.

Please refer to instruction below:

- ONLY applicable for Pre-School, PSR, ‘O’ Level, IGCSE, Edexcel Extended, Edexcel Diploma, Special Needs and ‘A’ Level students.

- Please ensure that the Graduation Students process is run for BOTH Academic and CCA Careers.

This is to be done for students who will be progressed on to the following level. This is done according to the student’s attendance statistic.

2.1 Student Progression – School Student Registrar to progress/retain students to their appropriate levels for the new Academic Year.

Please refer to the instructions below:

(This is ONLY applicable to Secondary schools students who are progressing from Special Applied Program Year 9 (SAPYR9) to their specialised Year 10 plan i.e. Art & Design Year 10, Business Administration Year 10, etc.)

- ONLY applicable for Year 1- 5, Year 7 (including Sports School), Year 9, Year 10 (including Sports School) and Lower Six Form.

- If the Progression process has been done before the Graduation Students process, School Student Registrars are to be reminded to verify and exclude these students from the Graduation Students process. This is to prevent School Student Registrars from graduating the wrong batch of students.

- Students who did not go through the Progression Process due to attendance of below 80% will need to be progressed manually.

This is to be done for streaming/retaining students to their appropriate Academic Program and Plan for the new Academic Year.

Please refer to the instruction below:

- ONLY applicable to Year 8 (including Sport School), and SAP Year 11 (Special Applied Program Year 11).
